Step 1: Steam mac version of steam and log in as normal. Step 2: Install PlayOnMac Step 3: Install Steam via play on mac Step 3.5: I've found that steam tends to have issues connecting on playonmac so here are two things that may help Step 4: Install game on PlayOnMac version of steam Step 5: Add PlayOnMac to Mac version of steam.

Step 9: From here you can launch any windows game. From what I've found controller support works fine via the steam link so there shouldn't be anything to worry about there, if not here are some mac drivers for the ps3 and xbox 360 controllers that you can install and it might help From here it's up to you.
From my experience this should work on anything that's a Macbook Air 2013 or above but lag may apply. Audio lag seems to be an issue here but from playonmac not the steam link so that's probably just the pc not being up to scratch. I got this working because my girlfriend wanted to be able to play lego games on her mac, and then play them on the tv so it has only really been tested with some old games, not sure how it would play out for newer titles but it just depends on how fast your mac is:) Hopefully this helps someone out there:) Happy gaming.

I can personally attest to some of these, because I have played them on my standard 2016 MacBook which I think has similar specs to the air. A lot of indie titles have pixel graphics or at least undemanding ones. Even a few big titles have run well on this thing.
